Positioned on the Wall for Families

Curiosity becomes concern, which leads to a calling, a calling to join Christ in his ministry. His ministry of intersession for the very things He is concerned for--his people and restoration of relationship. Christ does not look at the clock and consider our comfort or loss of sleep he leads us into prayer with his blessing. He calls us to beckon him to restore the walls of Jerusalem as he storms the gates with his position, power and mighty sword of truth.

Remember, don't ask yourself what the world needs ask your self what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive. The place God calls you is the place where your deep gladness, passion and worlds deep hunger meet. Never give up anything Christ has called you to join him in, even when it feels like it is too much. If he has called you to it he will fight the battle for you to stay in it--never run from the roar of the battle instead run to the roar with your face low to the ground and your eyes fixed on Jesus. I praise God for hearts of those willing to stand tall in the battlefield and survey the carnage trusting Christ to bring up the rear guard and show families the path through to liberating victory and his peace in the promised lands of restoration. God is being faithful once again to work in the yielded family. Great blessings coming out of trying circumstances because of hearts changed which allows God's Holy Spirit to change thinking, which ushers in victorious living.

Often I have marveled at how God continues to place me in the lives of family units, yet not allowing me to marry again. I struggled against that placement and did not understand his assignment for a long time. As he brought me from understand to understanding he has revealed to me his special blessing and my great passion. So I stand on the crumbing walls of "family and church" looking for decay and reporting in prayer a breach of structure to the great mason and stonecutter. My pay is a great fortune! My past mistakes are redeemed through discernment and Godly wisdom. I do belong to all families through Christ as he calls me to be a vessel of prayer with feet to take his temple to the battleground I am just one of the troops on the ground. God, I pray you keep me ever humble to take my marching orders from you alone. Amen.
